It turns out that the servers we use for e-mail delivery had some kind of network meltdown early in the week of April 21st, 2008. As a result, they currently are sitting on what by all accounts is a massive backlog.
Some e-mail sent by our online store is stuck in that traffic.
We’re working to find away around the problem, but it is hard to find a mail server that will accept the volume we produce—they mostly have anti-spamming rules in place.
We’re told this should get sorted out slowly over the next few days. In the meantime, here are some suggestions:
1. If you’re looking for the download link for a PDF, don’t wait for the e-mail to arrive. Log into your account and download it from there.
2. If you’re waiting for an account activation email, and it hasn’t arrived after an hour, email email@example.com and we’ll try to get you sorted out.
We’re sorry about this situation, and we’re working to get it resolved as soon as possible.
