Looking forward to reading this book! Unfortunately, the mobi format in its current state is larger than 50 MB, which means it appears to be impossible to actually send it to my Kindle library due to a size restriction. If possible, you may want to consider ways to decrease the .mobi file size to accommodate this restriction. The only workaround at this point appears to be to zip the file and “unzip it” on the kindle with an app — unfortunately my Kindle is a paperwhite and I don’t believe such apps are available to me on it.

In your new book, you clarified that “change coupling” is a better term than “temporal coupling”. But temporal coupling/dependencies is still used on some pages. Examples are pages 41 and 49 in the Pdf. However, there are more occurrences.

Within the mobi files, both on Kindle for MacOS and the Kindle Paperwhite, the images within the Inspect the Code section are blurry and unreadable. I’ve not gone farther than this section, so I’m unsure if the problem exists farther along in the book.

“time of writing (Winter 2018)” -> should be “Winter 2017”

While I was digging into some of the footnotes this evening, I noticed an incomplete citation with a “fix it” note. It’s on page 238 of the pdf version. The Footnote is SABB17

The current text is:
D. Spadini, M. Aniche, M. Bruntink, and A. Bacchelli. To Mock or Not To
Mock? An Empirical Study on Mocking Practices. Unknown - Fix it!. 2017.

Images of code are too small and too low resolution on pages 29, 30, and 31, in epub and mobi formats. (I tried viewing the images in several Android epub and mobi readers; the images were too small and too low resolution in all readers.) The images are fine in pdf format.

xivERROR

the code file for this book is only 127 bytes in size and when decompressed appears to have no content.

3217ERROR

In the section “A Proxy for Interest Rate”, there are two git command for getting the most frequently changed source code files.
There is a mistake in the sort command, it sorts alphabetically the rows instead of numerically so the order is messed up.
So instead of:
git log —format=format: —name-only | egrep -v ‘^$’ | sort \\
| uniq -c | sort -r | head –5

It should be:
git log —format=format: —name-only | egrep -v ‘^$’ | sort \\
| uniq -c | sort -rg | head –5

The difference being instead of “sort -r”, we have “sort -rg”

The error is in two spots in the page.
