| 22 | SUGGEST | The paragraph at the end of the page indicates to accept all defaults when installing android studio. For me the default memory allocation for the intel hardware accelerator was 512M. This is too small and so studio would try to run Hello Android without hardware acceleration - which is painfully slow. I then had to figure out how to change this parameter which actually requires reinstalling HAXM. On doing this and setting the memory size to 1536M things are much faster, but still slower than one might hope. | |||
| 29 | SUGGEST | When the emulator first appeared, it was to the left of my computer screen with only half of the android device screen showing. It could not be moved at aall by dragging it with the mouse. The solution for this after some searching on the internet is to click the mouse on the android device so it is in focus, press ALT + Space on the keyboard, select Move from the drop down list, then press the arrow keys to move the android device screen to a fully visible position. Then it can be moved by dragging with the mouse. This would be a useful hint to add if others encounter this problem. | |||
| na | na | TYPO | On the sinup page of your website down by the checkboxes, “newsletter” is misspelled as “newletter” jsyk. :) | ||
| 32 | TYPO | On page 32 when the tic tac toe game is first created, the “Company Domain” is set to “example.org”. But then in the code on page 34 in “activity_main.xml” the code says ’class=“org.exmple.tictactoe.MainFragment”. The order of example and org is messed up. |
