Historical errata for Desktop GIS

At this point in the book, we have not been prompted or shown where to download the bird data, it’s not on the website with the other sample data.

From this page one, the text assumes we have those files in-hand.

On page 191, in the gdalwarp example using proj parameters, a single quote is used to enclose t_srs. Took me a long time to figure I needed double quotes. Found an example on forestpal.com.

Missing word.
“There are a couple of ways do it.” should be: “There are a couple of ways to do it.”
