| 87 | SUGGEST | When i use the facebook messages on the jabber account its keeps trowing me offline after 10 sec. so i dont think its working the way i follow the way you wrote. Or is there something missing or…. thnx ahead akooy000@planet.nl | Although it's not helpful, all I can say is that it works fine for me. I stay online with Facebook chat all day via Messages. Lots of people use it without problems. \n \nYour issue might be something to do with one of your Facebook settings, or perhaps another device you own is attempting to login to Facebook Chat and knocking your Mac offline? (Note that it appears to be OK to have chat enabled on the Facebook website at the same time it's enabled in Messages.) \n \nThere are two things you can try: \n \n1. Delete and recreate the FB account in Messages. This seems to fix some problems. \n \n2. Log out of Facebook via your browser, and then back in again. This also seems to fix things sometimes. \n \n |
