At the top of the page (last section of A1.4) is the section on changing a user’s password.

In the example text, it does not change the password of the user maik. It changes the password of the user logged in (pi).

I think it should read:

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ passwd maik

Just above the Hello World Image the sentence ended with: … and see the result likke this: — likke / like

Of course, you should mention NOOBS in the next revision of this text!

Talking about changing a user’s password, the code reads:
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ passwd
Changing password for maik.
Should change pi’s password (or the command should be ‘passwd maik’)

Hello Maik,
thanks for this great book. It is a good help to start with Raspberry.
One suggestion. In your german version of this book you give an advise how edit the file wpa_supplicant.conf to configure wlan. You mention to change the values ssid and psk of course. But you don’t mention to check the correct pairwise. I figured out, that TKIP is not always the correct pairwise. It should be checked in “sudo iwlist scan” for the selected network.

Thanks

Paco
