Historical errata for Web Development Recipes

The command to start the QEDServer should be server.sh on linux / mac osx and server.bat on Windows according to the readme file that came with the QEDServer downloaded zip file. I tried it out and the server started fine with this command (server.sh) on my ubuntu laptop.

Couchapp automatically creates the reduce.js file in messages view which causes null results to be returned

If you remove statuses/views/messages/reduce.js the tutorial works fine.

Do not currently have this book. This is an error in the “Recipe 8. Accessible Expand and Collapse” PDF excerpt. Sentence reads:

“And if we write the Javascript… directly to HTML itself, everyhing is completely decoupled.”

The last fragment of the last sentence on the page should read "
